The winners of the international painting competition “For a Green World” jointly organized by the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Youth Foundation of Türkiye and the Eurasian Regional Center of the Islamic Cooperation Forum were announced on June 7 at the event organized at the Resource Center of Youth Organizations.

The main goal of the competition, held between March 1 and May 1 of this year, is to draw attention to environmental protection, prevention of climate change at the national, regional and global levels, and encourage the more active involvement of young people in the processes, and create a creative perspective on the issue through the eyes of Azerbaijani, Turkish and foreign Muslim youth.

The competition was organized in 2 categories – paintings made using traditional painting techniques and images made with artificial intelligence solutions, and the received applications were evaluated with the participation of a professional jury and the winners were determined. The winner of the 1st place, Fatima Abusalimova from Samukh district, the winner of the 2nd place, Sabina Hasanli from the city of Baku, the winner of the 3rd place, Kanan Abbasov from the city of Baku, were awarded a trip to Türkiye, and other outstanding young people have been awarded with certificates and gifts.
