As part of the International Youth Forum, the name of “European Youth for Peace” dedicated to Victory Day, more than 30 leaders of influential youth organizations representing 21 European countries, young leaders and active young experts visited Agdam.
During the visit, the European representatives observed the consequences of vandalism committed by Armenia during the occupation, witnessed the crime against the historical and cultural heritage of the city of Agdam, and expressed their horror at the sight.
The representatives also got acquainted with the current situation in the liberated lands, visited the Panahali Khan’s building, Imarat Stadium, Aghdam Juma and Giyasli mosques and Aghdam State Drama Theater in Aghdam region. They are also got acquainted with the General Plan of Aghdam.
The guests expressed the importance of the land of Karabakh for our country and said they would continue to support us to make our voice heard on a large scale.
The representatives schedule is to visit Ganja the next day, visit the rocket-hit areas and hold a panel discussion.
The International Forum is held with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, organized by the “Azerbaijan Democratic Student Youth Organization” Public Union and in partnership with the National Council of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
