“The foundation of information society – Youth and Electronic Government” project has been successfully completed

The “The foundation of information society – Youth and Electronic Government” project, organized by the E-Government Training Center and the Students’ Economics and Management Association, has been completed, with the organizational support of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and with the financial support of Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The main purpose of the project is to increase the knowledge of young people on information technologies, expand the use of technology and promote the use of e-government resolutions among young people.
Trainings within the framework of the project covered 10 cities throughout the country. Over 200 youth participated in the trainings which were held in the regional centers of the Electronic Government Training Center in Baku, Nakhchivan, Lankaran, Shamakhi, Barda, Goychay, Ganja, Mingachevir, Goychay, Gazakh and Guba.
At the end of the training, each youngster received a certificate from the E-Government Training and Education Center of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.
The Youth and Electronic Government conference was held on December 26, 2017 to discuss the project’s outcomes and attract more youth organizations and young people to the project. Winners of the “Electronic Government for Youth” competition were announced and awarded at the conference.
